The Bad Guys

LI.To read a book in the holidays.
Yesterday I read this book about the bad guys episode 4. This is a book about attack of the zittens and about the bad guys. First it starts off with the news and says there is zittens that are trying to attack people so then the news live went cut and the zittens we taking charge of it. But in the other chapters the guys try and save everybody and keep them save instead of being bad well the other people says that to them. I learnt how to do a blog post about this book, In this book some words were difficult to read so then I searched it up on google and whats the meaning of the word that was hard for me to understand.

ASB getwise

LI. To learn how to save your money.
When the ASB getwise came to our school the man Jayden talked to us about how you save your money. The first thing Jayden told us was C-A-S-H- Goals, C-A-S-H goals mean Clear, Action, Save, How long and then comes goals. In that Lesson we learnt lots about how you can save your cash or money that you have to save up until year 13 in collage. I learnt how to save money and stop wasting money on candy or anything else that is not aloud to be used.

Quiz Show

LI. To learn about what you have been learning from the past few weeks.

This term LS1 had to get ready for the big Quiz show that was going to happen at the end of the term. Everyone in there groups learnt about every single thing that the teacher was going to ask each question in each round. But in each round if there is five students in your group somebody has to go twice, but if there is six students then your group does not have to go twice. Mr Wong asked questions about the digestive system, respiratory system, Nervous system, Circulatory system, Mr Wong asked us any type of question. If we got it wrong than we would not get a point. The rule was if we had went closer to the table then we would give each group a point except the group that went closer to the table. This Quiz show to see if everyone could remember knowledge from the past few weeks from when we were learning about all the systems also tried to remember what we also learnt before we did this Quiz show.The first one we had to do was the Drawing. In the drawing part Mr Wong told us what to draw about the digestive system, Respiratory system, Circulatory system, and the Nervous system. In the groups one student at a time has to go once, but if there is five students in your group than go once. Mr Wong would ask any questions and if you answer it then you get a point for your group. But if your group goes past the table than Mr Wong will give the other groups the point.

Matariki Celebration

Yesterday Panmure Bridge school had Matariki Celebration. The groups that were performing was Junior Kapa Haka, Senior Kapa haka, Pacifica, The drumming group, Ukulele. Everyone had to go to the Juniors playground so we could go there and performed what we have been learning about Kapa Haka, Drumming, Ukulele and Pacifica group. We eached performed what we have been learning from the pass and had to performed to the the people and students who did not join into anything. Before everyone was going to perform we had to sing a song with Mrs Odie. After we sang the first group to perform was the Senior Kapa Haka, the senior Kapa haka performed 3 dances they have been learning the past few weeks with Mrs Odie. After they performed its was the drumming group to perform what they have been learning how to drum in the past few weeks when they have been learning with Mr Matt. After the drumming group with Mr Matt, It was the Junior Kapa Haka group to perform what they were learning with Mrs Odie. They performed a dance with the song Waiti, Waita that song and they did there own actions to the song they have been learning about and sang it by them selves with out the Music playing. Then after Junior Kapa haka performed its was the Ukulele group to perform what they did past the few weeks they have been learning how to play the Ukulele. After the Ukulele group it was time for the Pacifica group to perform what they have been learning the past few weeks. The Pacifica group performed there Cook Island dance they have been learning the past weeks. After the Pacifica group Mrs Odie said the pray so that we can form 2 lines so that we could eat sausage sizzles, and also there was 400 sausage sizzles for Panmure Bridge school.

Matariki

LI. To work collaborative with LS2 for Matariki.

Today we had to work collaboratively with LS2, I was working with Raera, Brooklyn, Hajera. We had made a DLO and it was a google slide on the google slide, we had our own slide that we can work on and write facts about the video we watched about Matariki. We had to collaborative with LS2 with do this Matariki DLO that we all worked on. Matariki is a celebration that people celebrates and it's the Maori new year, where people have feast and all the yum things and talks about the seven stars of Matariki.

M&M Fractions

LI. To understand corresponding fraction, decimals and percentages.
This week for maths we did M&M's fractions. I was working with Sulia to do this M&M fraction must do. Some of the questions were hard to do because Sulia and I didn't pretty much understand it. I learnt new things well we were doing the maths M&M DLO we had to do. Also we ate some of the M&M's because some did not make sence. I was working with Sulia so that we could both learn something new about what we have been learning about.
