Kiwi Can

LI. To learn about integrity and Role model.
This week for Kiwi Can we played two games and had fun with Mrs Lily and Mr Matt. First we had to sit in a circle and talk about what did we do in the weekends and talk about the theme and the other things. Then we stand up and played bang, how you play bang you have to get into a circle and someone has to stand in the middle and call names like Angelica if they say that who ever is standing  next to her they have to say bang but if they say it at the same time then your a tie with the other person, we played bang for 2 rounds then sat back down and talked again with us and reminded everyone what we talked about before we played our activity. Then Mr Matt said stand up for our activity the activity were going to play is tu de fruity, how you play this game you will need to get into a circle and face your right, if Mr Matt says apple you move forward but if Mr Matt says orange you move back, but if Mr Matt say banana you switch sides but if you do the wrong move the your out and you will need to sit down in the middle and wait till the next round. Then we did GKQ, but I wasn't there because I went reading.

Explanation planner



LI.To write an 18 sentence Explanation planner. 
This week for Writing we had to do Earthworm digestive system. The seven steps for the earthworm is Mouth, Pharynx, Esophagus, Crop, Gizzard, Intestine, and the Anus. This is my explanation planner on top of what I was writing. I did this all my self but I just need a little bit of help with some of the sentence I did. I had fun trying this earthworm digestive system.


Maori

This week we had Maori with fireody. This week we had to make faces with this the first one was Kei te pai, Kei te makariri, Kei te riri, Kei te wera. We had to draw the feelings about each word, there was happy, angry, sweating, and freezing. Mrs fireody said the feeling and translate it in english so that we get what she was saying. Then she let us go and we did it our selfs but we did not work with partners but we could just help each other if we need any help with what the feelings in Maori mean.

Commenting

LI. To comment on someone's blog post. 
This week for Commenting I commented on Florence's blog on her Explanation planner. First I had to read Florence's blog before I do comment to understand what she wrote down. After I read Florence's blog post I did a comment on it about what she did and some fix ups she had to do.

Compulsory task



 

Slide Presentation,Explanation,Picture and Word ring

L.I to finish off the compulsory tasks. We learnt how to finish off compulsory tasks in a whole week. We finished of the picture,Slide presentation,explanation and the word ring. We learnt this by figuring out who does what. I did the Explanation, Nicole did the picture, Miiana did the Slide presentation, Pua and Sione A did the word ring. We had to finish this to be able to do the elective tasks

Kiwi Sport

This week for ripper rugby we learnt more about how to play ripper rugby. First Hamish said to get a belt and ripper and put it on the belt and come to the courts. Then Hamish was talking to us about that we are now going to play ripper rush.  How you play ripper rush it likes bull rush but you don't have to tackle the person down there is going to be two taggers they have to try and take off your ripper then you will be in with them until the next round. but if you go out of the bounds then you out and you have to be in with the taggers. Then Hamish talked to us again and said now we will play another game but forgot what it was called. How to play this game you will need to get a buddy and line up behind you partner the person behind has to run and get your partners ripper of the back of your partner. I was with Nicole, we played that game for a while. Then we played another game and that the game we were going to play was colours. In this game we had to get into a row this game is like cats and dogs but we used colours, we used colour orange and yellow, also my partner had to try and take off my ripper. Then Hamish said were going to play ripper rugby but don't go hard call or else something will get hurt. We were playing ripper rugby but we were in our own groups. Later on we had to go back to class beacuse it was almost morning tea time, then we came back to the class room for morning tea.

Kiwi Can

LI. New topic role model  and theme integrity.


This week for Kiwi Can we play 2 games called who’s missing and Doggy Doggy.
First we had to get into four lines and listen to what Mr Matt and Ms Lily said to us to do. Then Ms Lily asked us what did we do in the weekends. Then everyone finished talking them Mr Matt said now we are going to get into our energizer game. The game was called Doggy Doggy how you play is you have to get blind fold and get a noodle on your hand and put your legs kind wide and there will be a white board maker in between your legs. LS1 group B had to play this game for a while. Then we sat back down into the four lines again and went back over our new topic and theme for this term. Then Ms Lily said now we are going to play our activity called who's missing, how you play this game is to lay down on your stomach and close your eyes and Ms Lily or Mr Matt will pick a person to go into room six and hide there and then Ms Lily will say open your eyes you guys only have 3 guess to see who is missing from your class and how well you know them. Then we keep on playing for a few minutes then we sat back down and listened to Ms Lily and Mr Matt to tell us what to do, then we listen to Mr O so he can tell when to line up outside.

Volume and Capacity


LI. Measurement Volume and Capacity.
This week for maths our must do was Volume and Capacity. For this must do I worked with Alice we each picked a item and Estimate it, checked what was the actual D, W, H,  and for Volume to see how many things are in what you used. Volume means how much of something can fit in something. Capacity means how much something can hold something.

The Nervous System


LI. To make a copy of the Venn diagram and write about Human and Octopus. 
First someone from my group had to make a copy of this Venn diagram and write about Human and Octopus. For this  Inquiry work we had to find facts about Octopus and Human. I was working with 
Sione A, Nicole, Me, Alayah, Florence, and Pua we worked on different tasks so that we could finish our work faster. I was working with Alayah on the Venn diagram about Human, Octopus and similar.

Kiwi Can


LI. New topic integrity and new theme making good choices.
Today for Kiwi we play 2 games. First Ms Lily asked us what is the topic and the theme and we put our hands up and told Ms Lily. Then Ms Lily said what did you's do for Mothers day and asked students then started to play the energizer game. The energizer game was clap Ms Lily  showed us how to play so then she said when she cross her hand then we clap but if she doesn't cross her and if we clap then you lost and you would have to sit down and wait for the next round. Then we had to sit back down in a circle and talk with Ms Lily. Later on Ms Lily said we are now going to play protect the Jedi. To play this game its just like doge ball so the balls are going be in the yellow middle line and there has to be a Jedi who stands in the middle of the hula hoop then when the ball hits you then you have to sit down and wait for the Jedi to hit you then get up and keep on playing until the ball hits the Jedi then your team is out. Then we sat back down on the floor and listen to Ms Lily beacuse the bell was about to ring so then Ms Lily talked to us then we said thank you                                                   Ms Lily for having us in Kiwi Can.
