Elections

 Today for Election we had to pick a task to do and l did answering questions. l had to answer questions on election. And how much l know election they were four questions the must do was to create an poster and put the questions on it and answer them one by one and then after that we could put things on it like l did l just put a big word in the middle and it said elections with a capital e.After that I had to blog about this Elections google draw.I had fun making this and knowing more information about what's happening in the Elections on the google draw but I think mostly everyone did something different to what I did for my Elections Inquiry blog post.

Action

LI.To practice skills,To take turns to speak and listen to others,To learn new words.I learnt by getting a buddy and getting a book that was called Action and read it and after that we did the activity for the book called Action and we did another one on Pirate Trouble but already blogged about it on last weeks blog post.After we read the book we had to do this activity that we had to look for words in the book with vowel sounds in it and another with a-e,ai and ay the last but mostly not least ay.My buddy's that I was working was Yesha,Ellenora and I.We had fun doing this activity and read the book like buddy reading as we were told to as buddy's for the books that we were reading.The only books we did for Skarr and Rey was Pirate Trouble and Action before that there was a before reading and after reading before you do the both of the activity's there was a quiz that you and your buddy's had too figure out but then after the quiz there was a hahahah one and spelling test too see if you can spell those easy words or do the hahah one.

Maths Art

LI.To create a piece of art using: Rotation, Translation and reflection.I learnt by making a google draw about Nz designs and other designs and get from google images and then have to pick a deign that can do a Rotation,Translation and reflection.After we choose our designs Mr Ogilvie sent us a google document to put to designs that we are wanting to do and that can do Reflection, Rotation, and Translation.But my design was the air New Zealand logo.I had fun doing this in the right order and doing it in pastel, colouring pencil and the last mostly not least was the last was painting mostly.

Kiwi Can

LI.To know what self control is.This week for Kiwi Can for our topic it was self control.Our games that we played was challenges and we had to vs the other team named Golden Muffins.The games that we played was fun and in one of the challenges there were some funny moments and everyone was laughing because it hit them in the face so then they laughed too because it hit them in the face.Even everyone was having fun,having some funny moments and being respectful and having fun mostly but there was like way too many funny moments.

Recount planner (TREE)

LI.To write a recount of an activity.To edit a recount of an activity.I learnt by getting a paper from Mr Wong so we can do a scavenger hunt.We had to be into three groups my group was Avalon, Yesha and I.When we were in three groups we had to sit on the mat and see which people is lifted out not in groups then get your self's into three groups.After that Mr Wong said of you go and do the scavenger hunt everyone just ran out the door and got started with there first clue some people got tahi and some people got 10-15 tahi was go to room one and 10-15 was go to room five and read your first clue and keep on going then you have too keep on going until you got secret phrase one,two and three.When you think you got those clues then go back to Mr Wong so he can check and see if it's right or wrong if its wrong you will need to go again and keep on looking for more clues for your paper.Went to every classroom including the office because it had a clue inside the office.After we did all of those things we had to do this google document and do Tittle,Reveal(Orientation),Events and what was the ending bit and what did you do on the ending bit when you came back to class for the ending.

L.I: Math Can Do. For the maths can do I went on Jet Ski Addition.This is a addition game.You have to write in your name then press start. After you have to answer the addition questions.You have to try to beat the computers.If you answer the addition questions correctly that means you will ride more faster.You have to try and be first when you get to the finish line.I learnt to answer addition questions more faster and the people in front of you can even be first,second or third and your the last and you can get more turns and answer the additions,subtractions and time tables if you come first and you very top you can do those ones.

I really like this book because it looked very interesting and it was talking about a huge family having a huge celebration party. After you read the book and you had listened to it you need too answer five or eleven question and if you get it correct then you get a lot of pionts to have and keep on reading books on this website I like reading interesting books that I always like too read I love this website to read book that are you level age or it just goes by how your reading.

LI.To learn type touching.Today I had to do an activity called keyboarding drills.Keyboarding drills is to copy each row of letters and put it onto the row below using the correct fingers.I learnt by that your fingers have to be on the home row and learn more letters and can learn by typing anything into to this google document but can't           copy and paste the one that is on top to the bottom and can do it in level one,two and three.

Kiwi Sport

I learnt how to throw today and I also learned how to do shot put.I was so exciting to throw a shot put high as I could and then when Andy said to get your shot puts and pass on to the next person and see how high there one might go.If you don't know what shot put is this is how you do it, you get a shot pit ball,make sure you hold the ball with the fingers, you also have to hold the ball up to you're neck.After that you have turn the opposite side of where you are throwing,then you have you're chin knee toe all in a row,after you have to throw the shot put that you have and then throw it high as you could and watch it fly.After that Andy will say go and grab you're shot puts and pass it back to the other person after you to have the same try.

Kiwi Can

L.I To respect other people in your community.Today for Kiwi Can We had new teachers that are teaching us, there names are mrs piho and mr latu. We played a game, in that game we had to get the hoola hoop into on of the cones. There are 3 cones one cone is 10 points another cone is 20 points and the last cone is a Fifty the only thing is you have to make a wise choice of what cone you want the hoola hoop to over. I learned by going to Kiwi Can.But everyone was enjoying it and having fun playing the enerjizer and the activity and we might have did the GKQ but it was fun when went to Kiwi Can.

Pirate trouble

LI.To practice reading skills.To take turns to speak and listen to others.To learn new words.I learnt by reading a book called Pirate Trouble.We had to get into 2 pairs in groups that has the same book to read and after we do the buddy reading done the before reading and the quiz we had to do the activity for Pirate trouble or the other book called Action.I was working with Ellenora and Yesha.Yehsa Ellenora and I liked reading the book about Pirate trouble and it told us lots of information about Pirates and there trouble but finding treasure.And underline the word they book was called Yo Yo it looked like a awesome book to read same as Pirate Trouble.

Maths Plan

LI.To create a piece of art using: rotation, translation, and reflection.I learnt by finding a simple design that I can do for maths plan and then use that simple design and see if it can rotation, translation, and reflection.I also learnt how to copy my design and put it on the google document that Mr Ogilvie our maths teacher that sent it to us the google document so that we can out our copied design onto that google document.After that we had to wait until everyone's design was on the google document so that he could print.When he printed all of our designs everyone got there own design with there name on it so people don't get mixed up with the same math plan art.And you can see that our NZ designs and other designs are below with the design that I want to do.




  

Government party jigsaw

I learnt about all of the parties in New Zealand.I learnt it by doing this Government party jigsaw task.What we had to do was too complete this collaborate Government party jigsaw task to help you create your DLO that shows us who are you voting for.Then we had to put on Party,Leader,picture,Logo and electorate.If I was to vote I would vote for Jacinda Ardern because she can make house rent lower money and because she wants to help writing critecs.

Hauora Video

For inquiry this week we had to make a video or a animation about the meanings of the 4 dimensions of Hauora, but first we had to do the planning. We either had to get into pairs, groups of 3 or groups of 4. I was working with Florence and Sakina. Taha Tinana is Physical Health. Physical Health means when you be healthy. Taha Hinengaro is Mental Health. Mental Health means when you express your feelings and thoughts. Taha Whaunau is Social Health. Social Health means when you have relationships. Taha Wairua is Spiritual Health. Spiritual Health means when you think about your religious beliefs. Florence, Sakina and I had decided to do a video. We had to make the video over and over because we said some parts wrong and we couldn't see the Chromebook clearly so that we could see what our script was. We did make a video but then it got deleted, so we made another video. I learnt to make a video about the meanings of the 4 dimensions of Hauora.

QAR and Character Inferring

LI.To demonstrate our understanding of reading strategies.Today I had to make a poster.And we had to work in 2's.And I had to work with Charlize for this poster for QAR and Character Inferring.We also put links up to help you with the QAR and Inferring.Also there was questions for QAR and Character Inferring but links to go to the slide you wanna go to and there are some questions and some examples of what QAR and character inferring is all about.And in all of the slides if you don't want to use the arrow you can use the blue back arrow.

L.I.Reflection,Rotation and Translation or Flip Slide Turn.I learnt that Reflection is when you see your self in the mirror and that is a Reflection is and what Rotation meant turns upside down left,right also Translation meant slide to the left,right,down also straight or flip slide.I also learnt how to draw a triangle into a Reflection when you see your self in a mirror,Rotation is when you turn,upside down,left,right also Translation is when you slide your shape up,down,straight and side ways.

LI.To infer information about a character.I learnt by reading a book called the brave warrior after that we had to infer about the character and what we had to figure out was the Facts,Actions,Quotes and getting inside the character's head.I also learnt that the warrior was hunting for animals why he has been away for a long year and told the village about why was he away for that long and Boast at his village well he was saying it and then the brave warrior said no one can disobey me anyone can't disobey me at all times.

Kiwi Can

L.I.What is self control and how to use it.I learnt that self control is when you control your emotions and what you do.I learnt this by going to kiwi can and playing games that had included Self control.We first played Bip Bop Bounce then we had to talk about where is any risky actions is in the school or around the school.The other game we played was called all aboard.All aboard is when you have a rope formed into a circle we had to figure a way to make all of us get into the rope.We put our whole body in the rope but that didn't turn out well so we had to discuss how to do it.We did not figure the answer so Mr Malu and Ms Latoya revealed the answer.They did not say our whole body they meant we need to be in the circle like put our hand or anything in the circle not our whole body.They made each level harder and harder and everyone was having fun.

3D shapes

LI.Explore and describe faces, edges, and corners of 2D and 3D objects.I learnt by making a 2D or 3D shape as a group.I also learnt by make,a name and describe polygons and other plane. Today for maths I had to make a 3D shape make a name and describe polygons and other plane shapes and I was learning about 3D shapes and how to make them and add B+2=4+2= faces,Bx2=4+2=vertices,Bx3=4x3=edges.

LI.To use speech marks to show when someone is talking. I am learning about to use speech marks to show when someone is talking. I learnt by watching a video with examples of where you need to the put the speech marks in the right place. I also learnt by making an google document and put what it saying on your groups sildes and then add speech marks to it when it shows someone is talking in the sentence.
