Waka Ama / Week one Begging

LI.Was to go and read a article on Summer Learning Journey.

I learnt how to get onto Summer Learning Journey and learnt some new facts about Waka Ama. I learnt how to get on Summer Learning Journey and get on with other tasks I had to do and it was Waka Ama.

On your blog tell us whether you would like to be in a Waka Ama race one day. Why or why not?

I would give it a try one day if I was older and see if I can make it thur by just trying but only once.

Today for commenting I commented on Stacey's blog post and she is from tamaki primary. First I had to read her poster and read her blurb.Then later on I did a smart comment on the blog post she did.I smart commented on the one My hobby hero.

Jet Ski Additions

L.I: Math Can Do. For the maths can do I went on Jet Ski Addition.This is a addition game.You have to write in your name then press start. After you have to answer the addition questions.You have to try to beat the computers.If you answer the addition questions correctly that means you will ride more faster.You have to try and be first when you get to the finish line.I learnt to answer addition questions more faster and the people in front of you can even be first,second or third and your the last and you can get more turns and answer the additions,subtractions and time tables if you come first and you very top you can do those ones.But I had fun playing this can do can I had to do for can dos today.I love playing this maths game for can do because its a addition game and you can add parties into it and put it on private or on public and then students that play it can click on any of it and can play with the owner of the game room they made.

Raz Kids

LI.To read a book from Raz Kids.This is a book called Can I vote.This book is about a boy Leon and his Mum and Dad went to a place to vote who is going to be the government and Leon asked his Mum and Dad if kids are aloud to vote like parents do.So then Leon had to sit on a chair where all the kids were and his Mum and Dad went to a secret room to write down who they wanted to vote for so that person can be the government. So then when they came Leon saw kids lining up next to a kids vote government. After that his Mum and Dad said okay Leon you can go and vote in the kids one and we will be waiting for you when you come out of there.When he came out he said when I'm a parent will I vote for who is going to be the government for this country I asked Mum and Dad she said I quiet think that will we true.But I had fun learning about vote for the government and see how grateful is that government going to be. 

Setting Sail / Week One Begging

Today for Summer Learning Journey I did another blog post about the setting sail Letter.I was so excited to write this setting sail letter because your talking about how you feel before coming to New Zealand a new country that your going to move to and have to go to a new school or visit the public places you see.

Today for SLJ I did a book about Maui and the giant fish and the work that I had to do was to do 3 facts that you learnt about from the book Maui and the giant fish.Then it said what other books have you read about Maui,Maui and the sun,Maui slowed the sun,The fish of Maui and How Maui found the secret of fire That all the other books I read about Maui,Some books very intreasting.

LI.To summarise and evaluate.

Today for reading we had to read the book Animals of the Rainforest. Then we had to do facts about on a google document.I worked with Sandra,Yesha and I.The google document fact, page, question for the quiz and answers was the last one.

Badminton

Today for Badminton we had to playing a warm up game.Our warm up game was stuck in the mud to play this game was to when you get tagged from the taggers you have to stay staying up and just wait until someone comes and clap their hand under your leg then you have to run before one of the taggers might come and tag you and then that means your stuck in the mud. After we played our warm up game we had to come back to the ground and wait for what we are suposed to do. Later on we had to get into buddys and my buddy was Nyjah.Then we had to play you have to hit the shuttle and your other buddy has to catch the shuttle and it has to go up to five hits and five throws for you to hit the shuttle. Later on Nyjah and I were playing a rally and there was a net in front of us. So then Kevin said to find a buddy in your rally net play and only 6 students are alowed in your group and we played a new rally with our new buddy and my new buddy was Joel. I had lots of fun playing a rally game with who ever wins the new rally game only if we could still be playing Badminton.

LI.Had to learn how to type on Keyboarding drills.Today I went on Keyboarding drills and did some typing on that google document for the keyboarding drills.But it was fun typing because you can learn how to type more faster that slower typing than it is typing like a slower person at typing.You can learn how to be a faster typer instead of typing with one finger all the time.

Today for commenting we had to comment on maths question from last weeks maths question blog we had to do.I comment on Yesha and Ellenora's Maths question blog post.I read their poster and wrote answer down and then did a comment on there maths question blog post they did last week.

Origami

LI.To write a recount about making origami cranes.
Today for Writing Mr Wong's Writing group's had to do a recount about this Origami Japanese Helmet.My group had to make it with Mr Wong and the other group wanted to do it without Mr Wong teaching them what to do.First we had to get a Origami paper and wait until Mr Wong is ready to start.So first we had to fold into a triangle and take a photo of it and you keep on doing the same but keep on listening to Mr Wong to tell what to fold and when to take a photo of your Origami.

Three Roles

LI. Choose three roles from the lists below that we have briefly looked at over the past four weeks.
Today for Inquiry.The ones I picked was Food Services, Police, Business. First I had to facts about Food Services, then Police facts, last one was Business. But when we had to do a fact we had to make it in our own words instead of copying it off google and not making it in our own words and then students and teachers will know that you copied it off google.But had fun doing this Three Roles.

Today for reading we had to read the storm book and do chapter 3 on this google slide that says The Storm a book study.First we had to read the book, after we read the book we had to do a quiz.Then had to do predicting, later we had to do questioning, words, summarising.

The Storm

LI.to predicted, question, and summarise a text.Today for reading we did the storm a book study on a google slide but we were not aloud to work in buddy's for this reading task.But for this week for reading we only had to do chapter two and we did chapter one last week for that reading task.But the slides were easy simple activity's we did on this google slide.And the book was talking about storm that was happening and there was a power cut in this storm book we read and then did the activity.But this slide for chapter two was five slides for chapter two.

The storm

LI.to predicted, question, and summarise a text.Today for reading we did the storm book work on a google slide named The Storm a book study and we did 20 slides for chapter one, two, three.The first slide was basic information and then chapter one, First it was the quiz, then predicting and how close were you the other one was Questioning and Could you answer them? Then words, meaning, synonyms for the word.But it keeps on going on the same but in chapters one, two and three.But this was kinda fun because we had to do the same thing but different types of things to the chapter work we had to do but some people only did chapter on, and chapter two only but finishing of the chapter 3 and this was a little bit easy for us to do.

Past Tense

LI.To use Past Tense to show something has happened.Today for Writing we did Past Tense The first one I did was replace the underline word with the Past tense version.The second one I did was Fill in the word but one of them was kinda hard to do.The last one I did was Us the word to write your own past tense sentence.But this Writing work was a little bit hard because in the first row one of the words of a little bit hard but at least I add a word into that writing and I liked doing something like a past tense Writing work and we had to work by our own selfs for this past tense work.
Past tense is when something that is already happened in the past tense.

Fire Staion Vist

LI.Went to the fire station with Mrs Anderson.

Today after morning tea LS1 walked to the fire station with Mrs Anderson and our teacher Mr Oglivie.When we got there we to sit on the ground and listen to what they are going to say to us and we had to ask them some questions.Later on they said to stand up and we are going to be going outside and be showing you what tools we have on the fire truck and we asked some questions to them about the tools they have on the fire truck.So then we had to get up and walk onto the other side and look what other tools they have on the other side but there was not that much questions to ask on the other side on the fire truck tools they had.

After that one of the fire mens ask for four students to come up and hold the hose but the teacher had to choose and it was Sandra,Andrew,Fui and Johnathan.So they played with the hose but didn't wet anybody but had a turn when it was Sandra's turn she wet Mrs Anderson a little bit while she was talking photo's on her phone.After that they had to come back and sit down on the floor.

Then the other fire men got the other hose ready and said teacher came up and hold the hose then Mr Oglivie and we was wetting the high tower.Then one fire men went up the fire truck and was doing the hose and the students that was sitting on the floor was getting wet but then Mrs Anderson said get up and go there and stand in the sun until your dry and then sit down but not on the ground.But everyone had lots of fun but the stundents that went up and did the hose had fun as well. 

Trades

LI.To do trades for Inquiry.I learnt by getting into six groups of three girls and three boys that you haven't been working with.For Inquiry my buddy was Matthew.What I did was Bus driver and my buddy did Plumber and the other people in our group did a different thing to what we were doing. 

Sport's LS1 Likes

LI.Ask the whole LS1 what is there favourite sport.I learnt how to ask the whole LS1 what was there favourite sport was out of Netball,Cricket,Touch,Football and other.But the most one was other for sports LS1 Likes.But I had fun doing this Maths Sports LS1 likes because it was fun.  

Badminton

Today for Kiwi Sport we did Badminton.The first warm up game.We decide that it was going to be stuck in the mud.We played that game until we got called to sit down on the floor line quietly.So then we had to grab a racket and a shuttle and come back and sit down and watch what i'm going to do.After that we had to get into partners and your other buddy has to throw the shuttle and your other buddy has to hit the shuttle and then your other buddy has to catch it because your the person that threw the shuttle.So then everyone had to come and sit down again and then he put the net in the straight line and you have to get into your partners and share a net but if there is nothing then just go in between it and pretend and think there is a net in between the nets.But after that everyone had lots of fun playing Badminton.

Police Visit

 

LI.We had a police visit come to panmure bridge school.Today the police came to panmure bridge school for a visit.First the police came in a helicopter so the everyone had to stand up and follow the leader around the helicopter and sit down on the grass,but don't touch anything of the helicopter when you are walking around it.Later on the Police was talking to us about what kinds of things are on the helicopter and how far can the helicopter can get too.After that everyone had to clap clap for them coming to panmure bridge school and thank you to Countable Cyrus for letting them come over to panmure bridge school.Then we had to stand up and walk around the helicopter with out touching anything and go back and sit down we you guys were sitting at.So then they said that the dogs are coming with the other polices said Countable Cyrus.When the police came with the dogs one of the dogs came out and its name was Kahu and the trainer was Grant.After that they showed us how can Kahu the dog can smell things of the ground.After that Kahu the dog showed us how he can chase bad guys thats trying to steel something from another place.But then everyone had fun but it was time to go back to your class and wait for our teachers but it was fun seeing the dog Kahu teaching us what he could do and what he could do to chase people.

Recount (TREE)

LI.To evaluate the structure of a recount written by ourselves.Today for Writing we went to Room 7 to play a game and write notes down on our Recount planner (TREE).First we had to get in buddy's and my buddy was Kaitlyn to be my buddy for this game and then someone from your buddy has to swop with the person that was juggling the ball has to come and write some notes down.but it was so fun juggling 1 tennis ball 2 tennis ball and then 3 tennis ball with my buddy Kaitlyn.

Kiwi Can

Today for our topic Kiwi Can was communication.First we got into our energizer game knights, gentle man and horse and we played that game so Miss Latoya will say everyone walk around then Miss Latoya is gonna say knights so your buddy has to get down on his knee but if its too late then your out of the game until we have another round to play the game knights, gentle man and horse's. Later on Mr Malu said everyone came and sit down in the middle so then we all listen to what everyone was saying and then Mr Latoya said now we are going to play a activity now so everyone get up and lets get playing the game we are gonna play.Later on Miss Latoya add in the energizer game knights,gentle man and horse.After that Mr Malu said if you wanna have a drink of water go and have a drink of water and come back when we came back Mr Malu said lay down and have a rest until everyone gets here.When everyone got here we had to sit in a circle for the GKQ.When our GKQ was finish Mr Malu said thank you Kiwi Can.Everyone had fun at Kiwi Can playing.

Today for reading we did Meme Generator images,but got the text from the book called The Queen of Spain. We had to work with someone in our group.You shine like the sun! a metaphor does not use these two words a famous line from Romeo and Juliet has Romeo proclaiming Juliet is the sun.

Undersea Gardens

LI. To identify and define unknown words.I learnt by putting these words on with the people in my reading groups.Then had to put on synonym for the words we put on then we had to do a meaning for the word on the google document.

Fruit LS1 Likes

Today for Maths we had to draw fruits that LS1 likes in each box on the paper and ask anyone what is there favourite fruit.The fruits we did was Banana,Orange,Apple,Pear,Plum and other.After that when your finish doing that you have to get your Maths book and draw two lines and then on the other side on the line I had to write numbers up to 14.

LI.To read a book from Raz Kids.This is a book called Can I vote.This book is about a boy Leon and his Mum and Dad went to a place to vote who is going to be the goverment and Leon asked his Mum and Dad if kids are aloud to vote like parents do.So then Leon had to sit on a chair where all the kids were and his Mum and Dad went to a secret room to write down who they wanted to vote for so that person can be the goverment.So then when they came Leon saw kids lining up next to a kids vote goverment.After that his Mum and Dad said okay Leon you can go and vote in the kids one and we will be waiting for you when you come out of there.When he came out he said when I'm a parent will I vote for who is going to be the goverment for this counrty I asked Mum and Dad she said I quiet think that will we true.

Kiwi Sport(Badminton)

Today at Kiwi Sport we were playing Badminton.I learnt how to play sorts of games related to the Badminton.I learnt what kinds of grips there are to hold the racket in any type of hand way holding the racket.But most of all was all the games me and my buddy Liane played all the fun games.

LI.To learn type touching.Today I had to do an activity called keyboarding drills.Keyboarding drills is to copy each row of letters and put it onto the row below using the correct fingers.I learnt by that your fingers have to be on the home row and learn more letters and can learn by typing anything into to this google document but can't copy and paste the one that is on top to the bottom and can do it in level one,two and three.
