Waka Ama / Week one Begging

LI.Was to go and read a article on Summer Learning Journey.
I learnt how to get onto Summer Learning Journey and learnt some new facts about Waka Ama. I learnt how to get on Summer Learning Journey and get on with other tasks I had to do and it was Waka Ama.

On your blog tell us whether you would like to be in a Waka Ama race one day. Why or why not?
I would give it a try one day if I was older and see if I can make it thur by just trying but only once.

  1. Dear Miiana,
My name is Patricia Santos and I will be blogging with you for the Summer Learning Journey. You will find that the activities are fun and highly engaging.
I am so glad that you are willing to give the Waka Ama a go, I would like to try it as well! Could you tell me why you would like to try it?
I can tell you that I want to try it because I really like team sports. I enjoy the opportunity to work collaboratively towards a goal. Also, I like the idea of know how to be safe around the water, because after all we live in a island and this skill can be very useful one day, don't you agree?
In order for you to gain full points for this task you need to write a bit more about your reasons to try Waka Ama.
You are off to a great start here. Keep up with your good work!

    Kia Kaha,

    Patricia
