Pewter Casting
Today was another time at Tamaki College doing Pewter Casting with Mr Grundy. Everyone was just showing Mr Grundy our 16 images and we choose the one that we were going to do and then he would tell us the rules when someone is carving there shape everyone has to be 1 meter away from that person and only Mr Grundy could be close. I was changing some of the images because it wasn't really good enough to use and I just went up and searched different ones that I could find that has no holes in and thats a good picture that I could trace, if it wasn't a picture I could trace then I would need to change it to something easy instead of hard. Then I saw everyone tracing there images and going upto Mr Grundy so that we could help them a bit and then they will be tracing there pictures that they will want for there necklace to be looking like. But today was just fun looking for silhouette images and some others tracing there pictures.

Tech Reflection
Today we got another lesson at Tamaki College for Tech, with Mr Grundy for pewter casting. We were working on our work book. We needed to have 4 people with 4 ideas with what they liked. Its kinda like what we did last week with our work book. I did all the 16 silhouette images I needed and asked Mr Grundy to look at the images that I added onto my work book. Mr Grundy was just checking my images and some of the ideas I put down. After that I got the advice he told me and edited my work book and put proper silhouette images onto my DLO. Then helped my friends with some ideas of people that they were choosing and helped them with finding silhouette images and finding ones that Mr Grundy would do and help us with.

Tech Reflection
This week was our first session of tech with Mr Grundy. Today we looked at pewter casting to make jewelry. First we planned our designs and who our recipients were. Mr Grundy showed us the steps of creating our designs, so we could have a clear understanding on how we make it. There were a few designs we were thinking of making.
