L.I.To develop an understanding of the different elements of Matariki. I learnt how to understand different elements of Matariki.I learnt how to make text to text,Text to world and text to self connections.I learnt that the seven stars of Matariki is a special celebration for the maoris.I also learnt that seven stars of Matariki was in 2016 and now there is nine stars in 2017. I learnt that the seven stars of matariki names are Waita,Wai-puna-a-rangi,Tupua-nuku,Ururangi,Tupua-rangi and there mum Matariki.Matariki is a very sad celebration for the people that has died and other people that are not normal but can’t help them self out.Matariki can be a celebration for different cultures.
