Yesterday LS2 went to the Motat as part of our STEAM unit. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. As a showcase of what we did at the Motat I have created a flip book to showcase pictures of the activities that we did.
I am a Year 8 student at Glenbrae School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 7 and my teacher is Mrs Tofa.

Summary
This week in reading, we learnt about the Maori myths and legends. First we watched a video of a Maori story in sand art. To understand more about the story, we created a summary of the story, in partners. My partner was Sakina. This story was about how Papatuanuku and Ranginui were separated by their children, and the journey throughout New Zealand.

Graphics
This Friday was the last session for us to be having graphics with Mrs Ferguson. We were finishing off our 3D games that we created for the last few weeks that we have been with Mrs Ferguson. We went onto tinkercad and did some created our own tasks. What we did first was created a new project and listened to what Mrs Ferguson drew on the bored and we needed to copy what she was doing on the bored, what we needed to do was a moon with just using a cylinder shape to make the moon shape. After we made that we had to kind of make a shape of a pill, while we were making that we had to add our initials onto the pill. Later on that we had to be finished creating our 3D games that we were making. I was making a tic tac toe game with sqaures and circles, then I helped Florence cut out her puzzle that had a BTS photo on it.
