WW1 Transport Ship

In the Morning block we did Inquiry and what we were learning about was WW1 transport Ship. We had to get information about the transport that the New Zealand Soilders went on to get to Europe. I was working with Jack, Joseph, Sakina, Ellenora and Alice. We all worked as a group to get the information down about the WW1 Trasnport ship that the New Zealand Soldiers went on to get to Europe. The interesting fact that I learnt about was Soldiers went to War to fight for their freedom also to fight for our country that were in.

7 Continents Of The World

This week for a fun day, we learnt about the 7 continents of the world. The continents are, North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and Antartica. Did you know that Asia has the biggest cave in the world. We created a DLO sharing 3 interesting facts about each continent in pairs. My partner was Sakina. We worked collaboratively to finish this DLO in 10 minutes. We did a lot in 10 minutes, but didn't finish it. This activity was really fun, because we learnt information that we didn't know about the continents. Some of the facts blew my mind.

Kokako bird Infographic

Last week on Tuseday the year 7's and 8's went to camp. When we got back from camp we had to do activites about what we did at camp. We had to make a DLO about information the Kokako bird and the information that we had to research was its Habbit, Apperance, Diet, and some intereasting facts about the Kokako bird. I wrote some interesting information about the Kokako bird and other facts about it. This was for celebrating camp also making DLO's about what we saw there and other activites we did. Also this was challengeing because we had to get this done. This was a Infographic about the Kokako bird, and how I had to search up these informations about the Kokako bird.

Why is kokako lodge a great place for year 7/8 to go to camp

                                  

In Writing Joel, Fui, Sandra and I worked collaboratively with each other to create a screen castify video on Why kokako lodge is a great place for year 7/8 students to go on camp. This week for writing we were given a challenge from our teacher Ms Anderson. On a presentation she showed us what she recently said to Siri and instead of siri answering it went to no connection. So for our challenge we answerd Ms andersons question witch was Why is kokako lodge a great place for year 7/8 to go to camp? We then did a Screen castify on it.
