Tech With Mr Grandy

For another day at Tech with Mr Gandy we had to finish of doing our projects that we were trying to finish off. The first one to finish there project was Ellenora she glued her bits and pieces together. I'm behind so I'm still using the Backed Saw to cut my joint so that I could add the piece onto it. Everyone else was already finish and they were getting ready to glue there pieces together, well I was stilling working on cutting my wood. After that there was noise level and that Mr Grandy could hear the students name also the noise from making another wood for those who need one and wanted there help from Mr Grandy. My project that I doing for wood work is I'm making a box so that I could hide my money in it so that I don't lose it. But the specail thing we have to do is remeber the joint because if you don't have a joint what kind of project are you gonna be making. Today was an awsome day with Mr Grandy doing wood work and asking if we need help with something we didn't know also it was fun because we could get to use the amazing tools he had in his workshop. We had an amazing day with Mr Grandy today and doing lots of wood work.

This DLO is an analysis of my blog posts for every year I've had my chromebook. To get my 500 club badge on my blog I need to do 5 blog posts every week to reach my goal of 178 more blog posts this year.

Kiwi Can

This week for Kiwi Can we had another lesson of Kiwi with the Kiwi Can leaders. When we walked in we had to sit on the mat and listen to the instrucations that Mrs Paige and Mrs Mac told us about. Then we had to go outside and we played A's and B's and our activity was Magic shoes. We had to go outside to play A's and B's. How we played was Someone has to be your B and someone to be your A and if they guess that your their A. After that we went back inside and talked about what the topic and theme is. After we were talking about that we got into our activity and what we played was magic boots. How you play magic boots is someone already has the magic shoes well the other person has to figure out a way to get to the other side. We had to get into 4 groups and my group was Angela, Alice, Ellenora, Matthew, and Te pounamu. We all worked together as a group to get the other person onto the other side so that they could have magic boots. After that we had to go back inside and do the points and we got 45 points for Kiwi Can, then we got let out to go.

Thank you letter | Care Awards

For another task for Care Awards I did Thank you to a teacher or a staffmember and I did Mrs Anderson becuase shes a fun teacher and she does fun art. Also shes a fun teacher when we do our learning in writing, art, reading, inquiry. Thank you Mrs Anderson for being my year seven teacher and teaching us new things that we haven't learn in year 6. Even when we didn't know how to blend colours Mrs Anderson tought us how to blend colours and even teaching the whole class something new we haven't learnt. I learnt so much in LS2 with Mrs Anderson. This was for a Care Award for Respect.

Great White Sharks

In the first block we had to do our reading DLO, after reading our books and writing down information about vocab, questions and other things we had to write down on our paper we got given by Mrs Anderson. The DLO we had to make was make a DLO about Great White Shark information about them and other things about Great White Sharks. The information that I put down was information about great white sharks growing up and how they get to there prey and how they swim and there speed in the water. This was a little bit easy because I just had to look up information and make it into my own words. I had fun looking up information about great white sharks.

Read Theroy

In the first block we had to do 15 minutes of Read theory then did a blog post about it. This was an amazing time to work on answering our questions probaly and reading the text and looking back at the questions and read the text so that you could get the right answer. The first text I read was Robert Plants. This was a story about Robert going to the hospital, school, at the bank,grocey store and other places to. Robert goes around to places and he plants, bushes, white flowers, red flowers, yellow flowers and trees. The most best part of the story was Robert planting at different places, then supries him family at the end. What I need to work on is answering the questions and reading more of the text.
