I Can Read My Book With My Eyes Shut!
This week we had to start on our Reading challenge and what we do is read different books and make a summary about what book we read. The first one I'm starting with is Poem Book and I typed in the tittle and the author. This book is called I can read with my eyes shut. Its about a boy and a little boy reading with his eyes open and the other person is reading the book with his eyes shut and that he said he could read the book closing his eyes. He can read in blue, pickle green, and red. You could read your bookwith your left eye and your right eye. But it was so bad for his eyes because his eyebrows was red hot because of his hat. When you drive with your eyes shut you can go whereever your going to find your place, also reading a book with your eyes close is pretty fun he said.
how to be cyber safe & standing up to bullies
This week I had to do a care award blog post for my first time so that I could get my badge for Silver Confidence and I had to do 5 tasks to do. I did this all by myself I didn't need help with anything. This care award task was the first one I started with. The first thing I did was I got a blank google drawing and did how to be cyber safe and how to stand up to bullies. I did two text boxes one for how to be cyber safe and one on how to stand up to bullies. I did all of these information that I learnt from last year and some information that I already know.
Kiwi Can
This week we had Kiwi Can well half of the class went to softball interschool. On Wedensday it was just Mrs Paige. First when we walked in we had to sit in a circle and listen to Mrs Paige. The first thing we did was we had to recap on the topic and the theme for last week. After talking about that we got into our enerjizer and the game we played was fruit salad. How you play fruit salad is Mrs Paige says the commands and the commards are watermeleom backwards, Apple was move your hip to the left, pear was move your hip to the right and the last one was banana move backwards. After we played fruit salad we came back to the ground and recap what we were talking about, after that we had to do the catchphrase. We got into our activity and the game that we were playing for Activity was negative\ posative role play. First we had to get into groups and the people who were in my group were Avalon, Jospeh, Johnathan, and Karlos. Our role play was getting a bad report from your teacher and giving it to your parents, then Johnathan reads and growls Karlos and Avalon throws it down then Avalon picks it up and they walk to Karlos and said sorry at least you tried your best. After we played that Mrs Anderson said that we had a good role play and that we get to have free time because we did the best also the other groups tried their best to. After we play the role play we did GKQ when six students had to stand up and Mrs Paige had to give us questions to answer. Later on after we did GKQ Mrs Paige did the pionts and we got 49 total for our pionts.

Tech| Wood Work
This week for Tech we worked with Mr Grandy for Wood Work. We drew 8 designs and Mr Gandy had to come and look at it to see if joints are in the things we think of doing. The designs I drew was a box, chest of drawers, Piano toy, skatebored, truck, trophey, and the jewerly tree. After I did my designs I went and put my name on the bored so that Mr Grundy can look at my designs and see which ones need the joint. The ones that need a joint was the bus and the truck. When Mr Grandy was finish Ticking my designs he said that I need one more so the ones I did was I drew a toy piano and a truck that had joints too. When Mr Grandy came back to look my the designs I just did and then he ticked it because I had the joints on it, after Mr Grandy did it he said that I could pick any design that I wanted to make after that I chosse the box and then I flipped my page over and I had to draw the desgin. Later on Mr Gandy said who are the 3 students that are finish with there 8 designs get to have some M&M's from Mr Grandy.

The first thing we did was we watched a video about the legend of Rahi and how Ki O Rahi became a game. Back in the days they played Ki O Rahi to have peace and harmony. After we watched the video on youtube we went outside to the court and played a few games and the games we played were, there was two lines of boys and girls and the girls line had to put on bibs and the person who was teaching would say any sports and say any number the sports she said was, Soccer, Basketball, Touch, and Netball. On the last round of that game the girls had to vs the boys at playing Netball. After that we play a game where you have to pass the ball around 8 times after we did 8 times we did it by counting down from 8. After we play that game the last game we played was kioma and taniwha its like playing cats and dogs but different names to say. Explanation Sketchnote
This week for Writing we are learning about explanations. Marieta and I have worked on a sketchnote together about explanations. This DLO will help us remeber the things that we need in a explanation. In the DLO we wrote down the things we wrote from our paper sketchnote. The photo on the bottom of the DLO shows us speed dating. Speed dating is where we were in 2 lines and one line had been switching so that we hve different partners. This also helps us combine our ideas together to say what we have and what we missed.

What is A Leader
This week we've been learning about leadership. Miiana, Joel, Marieta, Alex, Villiami and I worked together to create a DLO on what a leader is, what goals we have as leaders this year, what responsibilities we have as leaders this year and what makes a good leader. For what makes a good leader we wrote things like: Someone who can step down and let others have a turn, someone who can take the initiative and someone who can learn from both their mistakes and successes.

E-ako
This week for Maths we used a website called e-ako maths. It was my first time using that website and what we do on it is where go on it and do different types of maths activites on it and after you finish doing that question you get your answers correct or wong and that you can start over again if you have to. We had to do this by ourselfs because these are questions and acitivtes that you do alone. Mrs Anderson gave us a code so that we could log into what we are doing. After I did my questions I had to take a screenshots of the questions that I did and got it correct or wrong. I did some of the questions wrong but I still got it back onto and did the correct answers and that I had to re read the equations.
