Weave fish
LI. To make a weaving fish out of paper for te reo Maori.
Today we had to weave paper to make a fish and blog it for maori as we were doing it as Matariki. First we had to get two strips of white cutted paper and transfor it into the weave fish. We had to watch a video so that we know how to make the weave fish. Miss Odie tought us then told us to go on google maps and search names from the book she had read to us. I just needed a little bit of help to make this Weave fish so that I have a blogpost for Maori. I learnt how to make a Weave fish out of paper well watching a video the first part was hard to make beacause it had to be in between your fingers. The book we read was The Taniwha of Wellington harbour. We had to go onto google maps and look up names from the names Miss Odie wrote on the white board was, Whaitaitai, Peto-one, Te awa kairangi- hutt river, Matiu Island, Whanganui a tara, wgtn airport, we had to search these up on google maps then show it to Miss Odie.
